Welcome to QAce: Ace Your QA Interview ("App", "we", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application available on iOS and Android.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the third-party services we use.

2.1 Data stored locally on your device

QAce stores the following data only on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Language preference — your chosen interface language (English or Ukrainian)
• Theme preference — dark or light mode setting
• Quiz statistics — number of quizzes completed and your last quiz result
• Pro status — whether you have purchased QAce Pro

2.2 Data collected by third-party services

QAce integrates the following third-party services that may collect data:

Google AdMob (free users only)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• IP address and approximate location
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
• Device information (model, OS version)

AdMob uses this data to serve relevant ads. You can learn more at Google's Privacy Policy. Upgrading to QAce Pro removes all ads.

RevenueCat (Pro upgrade)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. When you purchase QAce Pro, RevenueCat may collect:

• Purchase transaction data (anonymized)
• Device identifiers for purchase verification
• Subscription or purchase status

3. How We Use Information

The locally stored data is used solely to:

• Remember your language and theme preferences between app sessions
• Display your quiz progress on the home screen
• Determine whether to show ads (free users) or hide them (Pro users)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. Data collected by AdMob and RevenueCat is governed by their respective privacy policies and is used only for the purposes described above (advertising and purchase management).

5. In-App Purchases

QAce offers a one-time QAce Pro purchase ($2.99) that removes all ads. Purchases are processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment information. Purchase management is handled by RevenueCat.

6. Advertising

The free version of QAce displays interstitial ads powered by Google AdMob. Ads are shown between quiz sessions. Users who purchase QAce Pro will not see any ads.

You may opt out of personalized ads through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

7. Data Storage and Security

App preferences and quiz statistics are stored locally on your device. We have no access to this data. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

Data handled by AdMob and RevenueCat is stored on their respective secure servers according to their privacy policies.

8. Children's Privacy

QAce is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The app contains educational content suitable for adults preparing for professional QA engineering interviews.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data collected about you by our third-party partners. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for instructions on exercising these rights.

To remove locally stored app data, simply uninstall the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
